Tom Ford Makeup Brushes

05 Bronzer brush 80£

IT’S SO FLUFFY!! That’s how I’d describe the Tom Ford Bronzer brush! As the rest of the Tom Ford brush range it’s got white bristles and made from natural hair. It’s densely packed, not to dense though and the bristles are long so you get movement from the brush which helps blend the product and makes it perfect for applying bronzer and powder. The bristles are not cut but instead placed which makes the brush unbelievably soft! It is without a doubt the softest brush I’ve ever felt and is a dream to use. I’ve had my brush for about 18 months and washed it numerous times with no fallout. After each wash the bristles return to their white state and keep their shape. I dry ALL my brushes upside down to minimize the risk of water disolving the glue in the handle. I also shape the brush to it’s originial shape and thanks to these precautions the brush still looks and feels brand new after washing.
The brush itself is quite weighty and feels as luxurious as it looks. I mostly use it with my Hourglass Ambient lighting powder in Radiant Light, and together they give a beautiful finish. This is a brush I could not live without and I would not hesitate to buy a new one if I lost it.

06 Cheek brush 62£

As with the bronzer brush it is fluffy but the bristles are shorter and it’s denser so when applying blush you have to have a light hand so you wont overdo it. When dipping the brush into the product you should only dip the very top of the brush so the edges are clean to blend the blush evenly. I usually use it with the Tom Ford blushes and it’s a match made in heaven except for with narcissist when you barely need to touch the blusher to overload the brush, it’s THAT pigmented. The Cheek brush is love.

05 Shade and illuminate brush 58£

As the name suggests this is for Tom Ford's shade and illuminate contour kit. I rarely contour so I don’t get much use from this brush but it is really good together with the shade and illuminate. Since it is supposed to be used with a cream product the bristles are synthetic. It is a flat, square, short bristled brush so you get controll and precision. At the same time you can easily blend the product out with this brush to achieve the barely there shadow underneath your cheekbones. This is a quite unique brush and I can’t recall seeing a similar brush anywhere.

11 Eyeshadow brush 43£

This is a rather flat, long bristled, tapered eyeshadow brush and ideal for applying and blending. It’s made from natural bristles. Personally I use it to apply eyeshadow and not blending. This one is a must have for me since I use it everytime I do my eyes. It’s the first one I reach for. It’s soft and fluffy but not to fluffy. It picks up the right amount of product. It’s a keeper.

12 Eyeshadow contour 43£

This is also made from natural bristles, it’s short and dense and slightly angled to get precision. This is my ultimate brush for using beneath the eyes to add intensity. If clean, you can also use it to blend especially liners and shadow underneath the eyes to soften the look.

13 Blending brush 43£

As the name suggests this brush is meant for blending and that’s what I use it for. It’s got natural, long, white and fluffy bristles and is the perfect blending brush. I love it and plan to buy another one becuase in all honesty you can never have enough blending brushes, right?

14 Smoky eye brush 42£

If I had to pick a favourite it’d be this one! A pointed, dense pencil brush made from natural hairs! It’s amazing, just amazing! I always like to define the lower lashline and this blends it out into that grungy heroinchic look which I love. I’m definitely buying more of this one when my wallet agrees with me.

15 Eyeliner and definer 42£

And last we’ve got the eyeliner brush which again is made by natural bristles. The bristles are very short and it’s neither fluffy nor dense, it’s somewhere in the middle. I don’t usually use this for eyeliner, instead it’s perfect for applying hightlighter to the inner corners of the eyes.

All of the Tom Ford brushes I own are amazing and wonderfully luxurious brushes which makes applying makeup a dream.
